GOOD FOOD, ALL IN ONE PLACE
What shall we cook?
Your favourite recipes, ready for a little everyday inspiration.
Start with what you have
Add a few ingredients. We’ll find something to make.
Matches use ingredient names and aliases; they do not confirm substitutions or check pantry quantities. Allergen filters use the information transcribed from each card.

GROW YOUR COLLECTION
From recipe card to cookbook.
Keep your scans together, then turn them into recipes you can search and scale.
Add your recipe scans
Choose a combined batch PDF, or several individual PDFs. Keep each recipe’s front immediately before its back.
After saving a PDF, click “Copy request for Codex” in the scan inbox below. Paste that request into the Codex chat where this app was built. Codex can read the saved PDF and add its recipes. This app does not start an AI extraction automatically or use a paid API.
Import prepared recipes
Load a recipe JSON file prepared from any card format. Existing recipe IDs are skipped, so imports cannot overwrite your edits.
New imports appear under “To review”. Incomplete recipes can be saved and completed by hand. Nutrition, photos and cooking times can stay blank.
Paste this into your Codex chat
Scanning with your HP M283fdw
Use NAPS2’s document feeder setting at 300 dpi in colour. Scan the fronts, turn the stack over, then scan the backs. Use Reorder → Manual Duplex to pair them, checking “Reverse back sides” if needed. Turn on English OCR and save as PDF. Keep blank-page removal off until pairing is checked. Use the flatbed for cards outside the feeder’s paper specifications.
A HOME FOR YOUR RECIPES
Keep your cookbook close.
Everything is saved on this computer. No account, hosting or API subscription needed.
Back up the whole library
Download a ZIP containing the app, database, photographs and source scans. Save it in iCloud Drive or on an external drive.
Download full backupA database snapshot is also saved locally before recipe edits and JSON imports. These snapshots do not contain the photographs or scans.
Take your recipes with you
JSON preserves every recipe field. CSV opens in Numbers, Excel or LibreOffice, with a row for each printed ingredient quantity.
Where your library lives
Keep the working folder on this computer and use iCloud for backup ZIPs. To move or restore the full library, unzip a backup into a new folder and launch the copy inside. Keep the original until you have checked the restored copy.
Your app listens only on this computer. Opening it on an iPhone or another computer is a future feature; an iCloud backup does not create a shared live app.
